Hi! Thank you so much for visiting my page! My name is Melissa, and I have always had a camera in my hand. I may have been a tad annoying at with it at times! Growing up, I would take pictures of my little brother in all kinds of poses.   I take so much joy in taking pictures, and there are so many possibilities here in the DFW area.  I specialize in outdoor family photography, special event photography, and seniors.  Having a teenager myself has really emphasized to me the importance of having beautiful pictures to capture each stage of life.  We never really took formal family photos when I was young, and I truly wish we had taken more.  I know how much the pictures that I take now, will be valued further down the road. 

I am originally from El Paso, TX and currently live in Coppell with my husband, daughter, and two dogs. I am going on my ninth year of operating my photography business, and it's been such a joy! I was a first grade teacher in Irving for 7 years in my former life, but I feel that has transferred well to what I do today.   I'm all about being patient, and doing my best to keep things simple.  

When I'm not behind my lens, I love to be outdoors.  Running, walking the dogs, hiking...anything that takes me outside is my happy place.  That's tricky during those Texas summers though! I will never turn down Mexican food, enjoy a good workout, love reading magazines, and am a bit of a weather junkie.
